A native of South Africa and raised in New York City, Joseph grew up drawing houses, making art and playing music from age 6. His passion for the arts and architecture, coupled with conservatory-level training in Fine Arts provides a unique artistic foundation that informs each project. Joseph founded his design studio in 2010 from the desire to bring joy into people’s lives through improving their homes. Joseph believes by bringing more beauty and balance in the home, we have more joy in our lives.

With over a decade of experience working as a general contractor and custom home builder, Joseph brings an expertise to ensure each project not only meets the highest standards of craftsmanship, but also reflects the individual needs of his clients.

Grounded in classical design principles, Joseph’s approach is highly personalized, with an emphasis on creating spaces that are both beautiful and functional. As the Principal Designer, Joseph works closely with each client to bring their vision to life, ensuring every detail aligns with their preferences and needs.

Joseph is a licensed General Contractor and holds professional memberships with the Interior Design Society (IDS), the Institute of Classical Architecture & Art (ICAA), and the Natural Stone Institute. He also earned a Certificate in Applied Color from the New York School of Interior Design (NYSID).

Joseph’s work spans across Dallas, the Park Cities, Frisco, Southlake, New York, Colorado, and California. He draws inspiration from nature, fine art, distinctive hotels and restaurants, and the architecture of Cape Town, Europe, California, and New York City. Outside of design, he enjoys travel, composing music, and abstract painting.
